Cookies and browser storage
Small preferences that help the Botster website feel consistent between visits.
Last updated 22 October 2026
01. What the website uses
The website does not add advertising or audience analytics cookies. Its own preferences use your browser’s local storage and session storage, rather than cookies.
02. Appearance preference
If you choose light or dark mode, local storage remembers that setting on this browser. Choosing System removes the saved preference and follows your device setting. The preference otherwise stays until you change it or clear this website’s browser storage.
03. Announcement preference
If you dismiss the announcement banner, session storage remembers that choice for the current browser session. The banner may return in a new session or if the stored preference is cleared.
04. Reading position
The current page’s scroll position is saved in browser history on your device. This helps a refresh or a return to that page keep your place. It is not sent to an analytics service.
05. Necessary security cookies
Cloudflare delivers and protects the website and may use necessary security cookies when its protection features apply. Botster does not use these to advertise to you. Technical request processing is described in the privacy policy.
06. Your controls
You can use the Theme menu to change appearance, or your browser settings to clear this website’s stored data and manage cookies. Clearing or blocking storage may reset preferences, but you can still read the website.
